The Aero-Etch Sandcarver is designed to achieve high quality engraving on glass, crystal, metal, stone, wood, ceramics, and more. The unique, patented product is compatible with a variety of stencil types, including standard die-cut and custom vinyl cut (Cricut®, Silhouette®, etc.) and even custom photoresist sandcarving stencils.
Whether you're personalizing gifts, learning to sandcarve, or building a side hustle, Aero-Etch makes it easy to turn your creativity into professional-quality results.
This versatile sandcarving device can be powered with or without an air compressor:
- Connect to an air compressor by means of the Aero-Etch Compressor Adapter for deep etch engraving and extended spray time OR
- Activate with Aero-Etch Aerosol Propellant as a cordless alternative to complete short duration tasks outdoors or in well ventilated areas.
The Aero-Etch Sandcarver can be powered by aerosol — up to ~60 PSI — for cordless surface etching, frosting, photo engraving, and more, with no electricity or compressor needed.
Getting Started with Aerosol is easy!
- Pour the included sand-like abrasive material into the Aero-Etch Sandcarver (fill to 8 oz)
- Attach the bottom of the Sandcarver to the top of the Aerosol Propellant canister
- Put on your safety gear (mask, gloves, glasses — we’ve included it all)
- Activate when ready, aim at your desired surface, and let the fun begin!
Want more power and deeper carving? Use the Compressor Adapter to connect your own air compressor (at least 0.5 horsepower) for longer carving sessions and more advanced effects.
Getting Started with the Compressor Adapter is easy!
- Pour the included sand-like abrasive material into the Aero-Etch Sandcarver (fill to 8 oz)
- Plug the Sandcarver into the Compressor Adapter
- Connect the Adapter to your air compressor
- Set your compressor:
- 45–65 PSI (gentle pressure) = surface-level etching
- 65–75 PSI (higher pressure) = deep sandcarving effects
- Put on your safety gear (mask, gloves, glasses — we’ve included it all)
- Flip the switch, and let the fun begin!
